Brunswick House First Nation is reminding residents and visitors to follow posted splash pad safety rules, including no pets in the splash pad area, keeping the space clean, and ensuring children stay out of restricted areas.
IRSI Bingo
The St. John’s Residential School Project is sponsoring an Indigenous Residential School Initiative Bingo on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at the Chapleau Cree Band Office basement. Doors open at 6:30 PM and bingo starts at 7:00 PM.
Night Security
Brunswick House First Nation is hiring two Part-time Night Security Officers to provide overnight security coverage at the New NAPS Building. Alternating night shifts, weekends, and holidays may be required. Apply by July 9, 2026.
Drinking Water Advisory
Brunswick House First Nation is under a boil water advisory. Members should not drink tap water at this time. Bottled water must be used for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, making infant formula, washing fruits and vegetables, making hot drinks, and making ice.

Baseball Academy Day Trip
The Brunswick House First Nation Education Department is inviting youth to sign up for a Baseball Academy Day Trip to Sudbury Baseball Academy. Registration and parent/guardian consent are required.
Summer Students
Brunswick House First Nation is hiring five Summer Students to support administration, youth programming, community events, cultural activities, and community beautification projects from June 29 to August 27, 2026.

Courier 352 – Chapleau
Purolator is hiring a full-time Courier 352 position operating out of Chapleau, ON. This Monday-to-Friday role offers 40 hours per week, starting at $22.18/hour with an increase after three months.
Environmental Monitor
Brunswick House First Nation is seeking a full-time Environmental Monitor to work at the Discovery Silver Borden Mine Site. Applications are due July 17, 2026.

2026 Youth Camp
Registration is open for the 2026 Youth Camp, taking place July 25–29, 2026 at Island View Camp in Missanabie, Ontario. This gathering is offered in partnership with Brunswick House First Nation and is focused on youth learning from the land through traditional activities, canoeing, harvesting, fishing, and cultural skills.
