Important Update

We regret to inform Brunswick House First Nation members of drastic changes to the Jordan’s Principle Program that is being implemented Nation Wide. A memo was sent by Indigenous Services Canada yesterday detailing how the program is changing and what this means for families and children.

Addressing Medical Access Barriers:

    • Psychoeducational assessments (bi-annual) by a child psychologist
    • Pediatrician visits (quarterly) with Dr. Verbeek
    • Dental services (bi-annual), including a dentist and dental hygienist
    • Optometrist visits (bi-annual)
    • Naturopath visits (monthly)
    • Audiologist services (annual)
    • Additional services as required
