4th Annual BHFN Pow Wow

“Mino Bimaadiziwin”
(Living the Good Life)

We proudly hosted our 4th Annual Pow Wow. This year’s theme, “Mino Bimaadiziwin” or “Living the Good Life”, brought together community members, families, dancers, drummers, and guests to celebrate culture, tradition, and unity.

The weekend included Grand Entries, a Saturday night feast, a Registration Dinner, entertainment, and a special Jingle Dress dance in honour of Kyle Tangie-Perreault (baa). Ottawa River Singers served as Host Drum with Nimkii Anankwat as Co-Host Drum. Elders, leaders, youth, and dancers of all ages came together in a spirit of healing and celebration.

The Pow Wow provided an opportunity to honour traditions, strengthen community ties, and celebrate Indigenous culture through music, dance, and ceremony.
