Summmer Students

Five positions available from June 29 to August 27

Brunswick House First Nation is seeking motivated and community-minded students to join the team for the summer.

The Summer Student positions will support various departments with administrative tasks, community events, youth programming, cultural activities, and community beautification projects. This is a great opportunity for students to gain work experience while contributing to the well-being of the community.

Position Details

    • Position: Summer Student
    • Number of Positions: 5
    • Duration: June 29, 2026 – August 27, 2026
    • Hours: 40 hours per week
    • Starting Salary: $17.60/hour
    • Location: Brunswick House First Nation Administration

Brunswick House First Nation Band Members are encouraged to apply.

Duties and Responsibilities

    • Assist with planning and delivering youth and cultural programs
    • Support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and communications
    • Help organize community events and gatherings
    • Participate in outdoor maintenance or community beautification projects
    • Other duties may be assigned

Qualifications

    • Must be between 15 and 30 years of age
    • Must be currently enrolled in or applying for post-secondary education in Fall 2026
    • Strong communication and organizational skills
    • Interest in working with community members of all ages
    • Knowledge of, or willingness to learn about, Indigenous culture and traditions
    • Demonstrates initiative, a positive attitude, and self-motivation
