Join us for a full day of community events, activities, food, entertainment, and celebration.
Brunswick House First Nation invites community members to join us for National Indigenous Peoples Day on Sunday, June 21, 2026.
Everyone is welcome to take part in a full day of community activities, food, entertainment, and celebration.

- 7:00 AM – 8:00 AM: Sunrise Ceremony at the BHFN Powwow Grounds
- 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM: Community Breakfast at the Health Centre and Outdoor Tent
- 10:00 AM – 1:30 PM: Little Tots Splash Zone
- 10:00 AM – 10:45 AM: Land-Based Challenges at the Ball Field
- 10:30 AM – 3:00 PM: Community Scavenger Hunt
- 10:45 AM – 11:30 AM: Community Games at the Ball Field
- 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM: Skoden Dances
- 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM: Community Canoe Races
- 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM: Community BBQ at the Health Centre and Outdoor Tent
- 1:15 PM – 5:30 PM: Family Fun Zone at the Arena
- 2:00 PM – 4:30 PM: Cash Bingo at the Curling Rink
- 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM: Community Feast and Supper at the Curling Rink
- 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM: Lip Sync Battle
- 7:30 PM – 9:00 PM: Live Music by Swamp Rockers
- 10:00 PM: Fireworks Finale
Community Shuttle Service
A community shuttle service will run from 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM, providing regular bus transportation between the community and the arena.
Elder transportation will also be available throughout the day.
