Brunswick House First Nation is situated on Hwy 101 East, approx. 5km from the town of Chapleau, Ontario.
We are a member of the Nishnabe-Aski Nation and our membership has a population of 763 members with approx. 121 living on-reserve and 642 off-reserve. We are also affiliated with the Wabun Tribal Council.
Traditionally, our members were mainly trappers and fur-traders. However, we are currently involved in pursuing opportunities in mining, renewal energy, starting our own blueberry farm and providing educational, health and employment & training opportunities for our membership.

Drinking Water Advisory
The Precautionary Do Not Consume Advisory for Brunswick House First Nation has been rescinded as of May 20, 2026. Members are asked to follow the recommended flushing instructions before using their tap water.
Hydroponic Technician
Brunswick House First Nation is seeking a motivated and dependable Hydroponic Technician to support daily operations at the BHFN Hydroponic Greenhouse. Applications are due May 27, 2026.
