Brunswick House First Nation is situated on Hwy 101 East, approx. 5km from the town of Chapleau, Ontario.
We are a member of the Nishnabe-Aski Nation and our membership has a population of 763 members with approx. 121 living on-reserve and 642 off-reserve. We are also affiliated with the Wabun Tribal Council.
Traditionally, our members were mainly trappers and fur-traders. However, we are currently involved in pursuing opportunities in mining, renewal energy, starting our own blueberry farm and providing educational, health and employment & training opportunities for our membership.
2026 Youth Camp
Registration is open for the 2026 Youth Camp, taking place July 25–29, 2026 at Island View Camp in Missanabie, Ontario. This gathering is offered in partnership with Brunswick House First Nation and is focused on youth learning from the land through traditional activities, canoeing, harvesting, fishing, and cultural skills.
