Brunswick House First Nation is situated on Hwy 101 East, approx. 5km from the town of Chapleau, Ontario.
We are a member of the Nishnabe-Aski Nation and our membership has a population of 763 members with approx. 121 living on-reserve and 642 off-reserve. We are also affiliated with the Wabun Tribal Council.
Traditionally, our members were mainly trappers and fur-traders. However, we are currently involved in pursuing opportunities in mining, renewal energy, starting our own blueberry farm and providing educational, health and employment & training opportunities for our membership.

Oshki-Wenjack Recruiting Visit
Oshki-Wenjack will be recruiting in Brunswick House on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Health Services Centre.
Drinking Water Advisory
Brunswick House First Nation is under a boil water advisory. Members should not drink tap water at this time. Bottled water must be used for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, making infant formula, washing fruits and vegetables, making hot drinks, and making ice. Chief Cheryl will be delivering water to members, beginning on Rosie Street.
Early Learning Assistant
Brunswick House First Nation is hiring a full-time Early Learning Assistant to support children, families, staff, and day-to-day childcare centre operations.
