Call for Guest Speakers
Stories of Recovery Community Gathering
November 21, 2025 – 4:00 pm
Brunswick House First Nation invites community members and guest speakers to participate in a special National Addictions Awareness Week (NAAW) event on Friday, November 21, 2025, at the Joseph H. Saunders Community Centre.
Our plenary panel, Stories of Recovery, will provide a space for reflection, courage, and community connection as we honour the strength and resilience of those walking the path of healing.
Speakers are invited to share:

- Their recovery journey
- The supports, teachings, and cultural practices that helped them heal
- What Mino-Nimaadiziwin (the good life) means to them today
The plenary panel will be followed by a community dinner and sharing circle to celebrate wellness and connection.
