Welcome Summer Practicum Student

BHFN welcomes MSW Indigenous Trauma & Resiliency practicum student Shenoa Christie Poirier for the summer season.

Brunswick House First Nation is pleased to welcome Shenoa Christie Poirier, a BHFN member and Master of Social Work (MSW) Indigenous Trauma & Resiliency practicum student, who will be joining us throughout the summer.

Shenoa has shared a personal introduction reflecting on her journey, identity, and the intentions she carries into this season of returning home, building relationships, and learning alongside community members, leadership, and youth.

Through her practicum placement, Shenoa hopes to continue grounding herself in community, reciprocity, intergenerational healing, and Indigenous-led approaches to social work and wellness.

We are honoured to welcome Shenoa back to community for the summer and look forward to the knowledge, care, and connections she will share throughout her placement.

Chi meegwetch, Shenoa, and welcome to the team.
