Brunswick House First Nation community members are invited to attend Day One of the Exploratory Discussion Meeting between Brunswick House First Nation and Ontario regarding the Chapleau Crown Game Preserve.

Virtual participation is also available
through Microsoft Teams.

    • Transportation: Available.  Group transportation to and from Missinaibi Provincial Park will be available.

    • Opening ceremony and welcome remarks
    • Introductions with BHFN leadership, Elders, youth representatives, and Ontario representatives
    • Community stories and discussions about the history and impacts of the Chapleau Crown Game Preserve
    • Open invitation for community members to share

Lunch at Thrush

Travel from Thrush to Barclay Bay Campground entrance at Missinaibi Provincial Park

2:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Missinaibi Provincial Park – Barclay Bay Campground Area

    • Ceremony honouring Brunswick House First Nation ancestors
    • Historical tour and sharing about BHFN history within the Game Preserve
    • Closing remarks
