Brunswick House First Nation is situated on Hwy 101 East, approx. 5km from the town of Chapleau, Ontario.
We are a member of the Nishnabe-Aski Nation and our membership has a population of 763 members with approx. 121 living on-reserve and 642 off-reserve. We are also affiliated with the Wabun Tribal Council.
Traditionally, our members were mainly trappers and fur-traders. However, we are currently involved in pursuing opportunities in mining, renewal energy, starting our own blueberry farm and providing educational, health and employment & training opportunities for our membership.

Brunswick House First Nation community members are invited to gather on Friday, June 5, 2026, at 12:00 noon at the Health Centre to remember Missing and Murdered Indigenous Men and Boys. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
