Brunswick House First Nation is inviting members to share their personal stories and experiences about life after leaving Missinaibi Provincial Park.
Community members are encouraged to speak about their experiences, memories, and stories connected to family, relocation, traditional life on the land, and the history of Brunswick House First Nation.
Topics May Include

- Family history and memories
- The impacts of relocation and displacement
- Traditional life on the land
- Hunting, trapping, fishing, and travel routes
- The challenges and strengths of being a Brunswick House member through the years
- Stories passed down from parents, grandparents, and Elders
Please submit your interest or story by May 21, 2026 at 4:00 PM.
Two stories will be selected to attend and speak at a gathering in Missinaibi on May 26, 2026. Travel costs and honorariums will be provided for selected participants.
These stories are important to preserving history, educating future generations, and supporting ongoing discussions about land and rights.
