Part-time Night Security Officers

Two Positions available at the New NAPS Building

Brunswick House First Nation is seeking two (2) professional and reliable Part-time Night Security Officers to provide overnight security coverage at the New NAPS Building.

The successful candidates will be responsible for safeguarding the premises, monitoring activity, and helping ensure the safety of personnel and property during non-business hours.

Position Details

  • Position: Part-time Night Security Officer
  • Location: New NAPS Building, Brunswick House First Nation
  • Employment Type: Part-time, alternating nights
  • Compensation: $25.00 per hour
  • Shift Hours: 9:00 PM – 5:00 AM
  • Schedule: Alternating overnight shifts, with weekend and holiday coverage required on a rotating basis
  • Number of Positions: Two (2)

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine patrols of interior and exterior areas to deter unauthorized activity
  • Control access to the building and verify authorization of individuals entering after hours
  • Respond to incidents including alarms, disturbances, and emergencies
  • Document nightly activity through detailed logs and incident reports
  • Maintain a professional presence and uphold all security protocols

Qualifications

  • Strong observational and communication skills
  • Ability to remain alert and focused during overnight hours
  • Physically capable of patrolling large areas and responding quickly
  • Professional, dependable, and able to work independently

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Security Officers will be required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment applicable to construction, including a hard hat, CSA green-tagged work boots, and a high-visibility vest when on patrol.

Applicants must also have access to a vehicle and a cell phone, as there will be no access to the onsite construction office.
