Seasonal Labourer
Full Time – Seasonal (July – October)
Brunswick House First Nation is accepting applications for a Seasonal Labourer – Housing with the Housing Department.
The Housing Department is seeking a motivated and reliable Seasonal Labourer to support maintenance, repair, and general labour activities throughout the summer and fall season. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, outdoor tasks, and contributing to the upkeep and improvement of community housing assets.

Position Details

- Position: Seasonal Labourer – Housing
- Starting Salary: $22/hour
- Reports To: Housing Manager
- Location: Brunswick House First Nation Administration
- Schedule: Full-time, seasonal position; Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work as needed
- Start Date: June 15, 2026
- End Date: October 30, 2026
Key Responsibilities

- Property maintenance: Assist with groundskeeping, lawn care, debris removal, and seasonal upkeep.
- General repairs: Support minor building repairs under supervision.
- Unit preparation: Help prepare housing units for occupancy, including cleaning and basic maintenance.
- Equipment handling: Operate hand tools and light equipment safely and responsibly.
- Team support: Work collaboratively with Housing Department staff to complete assigned tasks.
Qualifications

- Physical ability to perform manual labour, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Reliability and strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required.
- Previous experience in maintenance, construction, or groundskeeping is an asset but not required.
